6th gear whistling

I have a Touran type 1T3 with an engine CLCA 2.0L 81 KW and a manual 6 speeds gearbox 02S MAW.
This week I noticed a noise as whistling when I put the 6th gear and when returning back to the 5th or lower this whistling gone.
Could you please give me the possibles causes related to this issue, because I am afraid if this issue may lead to a serious failure.
